2003 Saulsbury / 2007 E-One Heavy Rescue
Rescue 131 operates as the only full-time, staffed rescue company in Hendricks County. It is staffed daily with up to 6 firefighters and a minimum of 3. They respond first due across Brownsburg Fire's entire district on all working fires, motor vehicle accidents with entrapment, technical rescue calls, and Hazardous Material incidents. They are also 2nd due on EMS calls in their primary district.

Rescue 131 was originally built in 2003 in Tully, NY by Saulsbury, just prior to their purchase and subsequent move to E-One. This apparatus entered service in April of 2004. It has seating for 9 personnel and carries a full compliment of fire suppression tools, as well as equipment for high and low angle rescue, tower and antenna rescue, surface and swift water rescue, ice rescue, heavy lifting, and vehicle and machinery entrapments.
